Barbara Bulc is the founder of Global Development consultancy and SDG Colab, a non-profit collaboratory, co-creating systems transformation working with youth, cities, tech and culture. A social chemist, she has been a driving force in building a new collaborative economy, disrupting silos across sectors and disciplines, to accelerate access to more inclusive and sustainable solutions in health, food, environmental and educational systems. She has over 25 years of leadership experience in international development, multi-sectoral diplomacy, civic innovation and healthcare industry, working in the U.S, Europe, Africa and Asia. She was the Senior Advisor at the President Clinton Foundation and the founding Director of Ambassador’s Richard Holbrooke’s Global Business Coalition in Europe, mobilizing businesses and Fortune 500 corporations in the global fight against poverty. Barbara served on the Global Fund Board, a multibillion-dollar innovative public-private partnership tackling HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. Prior to that, she was the CEO of the U.S. based KRKA Pharmaceuticals and a member of the Board of the U.S. Generic Pharmaceutical Industry Association (GPhA) and the Board of Bionor Immuno in Norway. Barbara is the Board member of Manush Labs impact accelerator and Ambassador of the Reboot the Future, a movement of imaginals putting compassion at the core of new systems leadership. She founded Art4Action to bring together art, science, policy and civic action for urgent societal transformation.
