Our Work
Founded in 2004 and with experts in public health and digital technology, we develop solutions that make health systems more personalized, accessible and coordinated.
By putting people first, we maximize access to essential quality healthcare.
The Right Care
Trained health workers with digital tools improve diagnostic accuracy, and the availability of full data enables tailored health services, ensuring everyone receives the appropriate care.
The Right Place
D-tree connects the dots between community health workers, health facilities, and people. Care is delivered at the right level of the health system and is accessible to all people, wherever they are.
The Right Time
By delivering preventive and curative care when it’s needed, we improve well-being and save lives.
What
We Do
Where
We Work
We work in Tanzania, Zanzibar, Malawi and Zambia to create positive stories like Amira’s where health providers are connected and people recieve the care they need and deserve.
Zanzibar
For almost a decade, we’ve partnered with the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar to launch and scale Jamii ni Afya, the nation’s first digital community health program. Now, we’re driving efforts to institutionalize and expand the initiative. Our future focus includes professionalizing community health workers and integrating services for non-communicable diseases.
Tanzania
Since 2008, we’ve collaborated with the government and partners to pioneer innovative health service delivery models. We empower healthcare workers to deliver digitally-enabled, coordinated, and integrated care, incorporating early childhood development services. We also provide crucial data for evidence-based decisions and policies. Our future focus is to scale these successful models, ensuring more Tanzanians have access to high-quality care.
Zambia
In Zambia, we’re collaborating with government stakeholders and partners to explore, evaluate, and harness the potential of digital systems to enhance community and primary healthcare. Together, we’re driving innovations that improve service delivery and health system decision-making.
Malawi
Building on 10 years of digital health innovations in Malawi, we partnered with the government to design the national integrated community health system (iCHIS). In the coming years, we will expand the national system and enhance integrated primary health care services.
